Formal season is here, ladies, and you know what that means: think hard and choose wisely. There are about seven formals this weekend, and being us (after all we are the we), we obviously got invited to more than one. Why do all the frats decide to cram all their formals into just one weekend? Clearly trying to drive us crazy, or make us pick favorites (we’re just trying to play the field...). Looks like it’s decision time…
SAE’s weekend shenanigan is in Chicago, which we know will be one hell of a weekend. Who could trash a hotel better than the frat boys who never stop partying? We’re down for some late night Jacuzzi bathtub-ing, if you know what we mean…
For the less creative, it seems that Canada is on the agenda for Theta Chi, ZBT, AEPI and Sig. We know this is going to be an epic formal – and being able to legally drink is definitely a bonus (smart boys, thanks for looking out for the babies). This calls for jagerbombs in every bar we hit, our own version of the hockey riots (although slightly less destructive, but only slightly), and our best versions of Canadian accents (vodka, eh?). Fun (read: incoherent) times ahead, so grab your passport and your highest heels.
Before we sign off, here’s some words of advice:
We love that this spring formal is going to be crazy, and that most of these formals last the whole weekend. However, be wary for this exact reason – remember, you’re stuck with this guy (and all his friends) for two whole days. It doesn’t sound like a long time, but make sure you go with a consistent slam, otherwise you’re in for a weird weekend of sharing a bed with him and a room with another (probably fucking) couple. Remember, you can’t ditch this guy, so you have better be sure he’s a good time. Unless, of course, all your sisters are going as well, in which case who cares if you know your date, your sisters are better dancers (and kissers) anyway.
